GOD IS FAITHFUL

GOD IS FAITHFULA girl went to her friends house and she
ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone

She wasn't afraid because it was a small COMMUNITY and she lived
only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the bike trail
Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger.

When she reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it.

However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man
standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there.
Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young
woman, she decided to go to the police station.

She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story.

The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before.

When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was
anything they could do for her.

She asked if they would ask the man one question.

Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her.

When the policeman asked him, he answered, 'Because she wasn't
alone.

She had two tall men walking on either side of her.

Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're not alone..
People will not stand up for God..

PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what.

10 RULES FOR A BLESSED DAY

10 RULES FOR A BLESSED DAY FOR A BLESSED DAY
Posted by Alfie on Jan 25, '10 9:09 PM for everyone
10 RULES FOR A BLESSED DAY

1. TODAY I WILL NOT STRIKE BACK . . .

If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is unkind, I will not respond in a like manner.

2. TODAY I WILL ASK GOD TO BLESS MY 'ENEMY'

If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quietly ask God to bless that individual. I understand "enemy" could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker or stranger.

3. TODAY I WILL BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT I SAY . . .

I will carefully choose and guard my words being certain that I do not spread gossip.

4. TODAY I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE . . .

I will find ways to help share the burden of another person.

5. TODAY I WILL FORGIVE . . .

I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way.

6. TODAY I WILL DO SOMETHING KIND FOR SOMEONE, (BUT I WILL DO IT IN SECRET . . . )

I will reach out anonymously and bless the life of another.

7. TODAY I WILL TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WISH TO BE TREATED . . .

I will practice the golden rule. "Do Unto others as I would have them do unto me"- with EVERYONE I encounter.

8. TODAY I WILL RAISE THE SPIRITS OF SOMEONE WHO IS DISCOURAGED . . .

My smile, my words, my expression of support, can make the difference to someone who is wrestling with life.

9. TODAY I WILL NURTURE MY BODY . . .

I will eat less . . . I will eat only healthy foods. I will thank God for my body.

10. TODAY I WILL GROW SPIRITUALLY . . .

I will spend a little more time in prayer today. I will begin reading something spiritual or inspirational; I will find a quiet place (at some point during this day) and listen to God's voice.

Luke 10:27

He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Luke 10:27

We learn three principles about loving our neighbor: (1) lack of love is often easy to justify, even though it is never right; (2) our neighbor is anyone of any race, creed, or social background who is in need; and (3) love means acting to meet the person's needs. Wherever you live, there are needy people close by. There is no good reason for refusing to help.

Remember, today is a gift from God so treat it preciously

The Wisdom of Life

The Wisdom of Life

The Wisdom of Life

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air.

You name them – work, family, health, friends and spirit - and you’re keep-ing all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls — family, health, friends, and spirit — are made of glass.

If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged, or even shattered. They will never be the same.

You must understand that and strive for balance in your life. But how?

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ in EVERY part of your life and the gift of God’s eternal LOVE is yours! Don’t undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Don’t set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you. Don’t take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as if they were your life, for without them, life is meaningless. Don’t let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live ALL the days of your life.

Don’t give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

Don’t be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us to each together.

Don’t be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave. Don’t shut love out of your life by saying it’s impossible to find time. The quickest way to receive love is to give; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; and the best way to keep love is to give it wings. Don’t run through life so fast that you forget not only where you’ve been, but also where you are going.

Don’t forget, a person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated. Don’t be afraid to learn. Knowledge, besides being a gift from God, is weightless, a treasure you can always carry easily.

Don’t use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery, and Today is a Gift: That’s why we call it . . . . The Present.

Work like you don’t need the money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobody’s watching.

Serve God and your fellow man like there’s NO TOMORROW! !

Jesus, how we thank You for being with us in all the hard times. Without You we would just drown in our sorrows. But You are here and You do care! Our rest and comfort is complete when we hide under Your shadow. It is true that we "can do all things through Christ who strengthens" us. Whatever hurts or griefs come our way, release from the pains they afford is as close as a whisper when we bring them to You. Draw us near to You, dear Savior, and through You love and power, give us peace. Amen!

Living Bible

Living BibleNow this is the Living Bible:

His name is Tim. He has wild hair, wears a T-shirt with holes in it, Jeans, and no shoes. This was literally his wardrobe for his entire four years of college.

He is brilliant. Kind of profound and very, very bright. He became a Christian while attending college.

Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed, very conservative church. They want to develop a ministry to the students but are not sure how to go about it.

One day Tim decides to go there. He walks in with no shoes, jeans, his T-shirt, and wild hair. The service has already started and so Tim starts down the aisle looking for a seat.

The church is completely packed and he can't find a seat. By now, people are really looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one says Anything.

Tim gets closer and closer and closer to the pulpit, and when he realizes there are no seats, he just squats down right on the carpet.

By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in the air is thick.

About this time, the minister realizes that from way at the back of the church, a deacon is slowly making his way toward Tim.

Now the deacon is in his eighties, has silver-gray hair, and a three-piece suit. A godly man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walks with a cane and, as he starts walking toward this boy, everyone is saying to themselves that you can't blame him for what he's going to do.

How can you expect a man of his age and of his background to understand some college kid on the floor?

It takes a long time for the man to reach the boy.

The church is utterly silent except for the clicking of the man's cane. All eyes are focused on him. You can't even hear anyone breathing. The minister can't even preach the sermon until the deacon does what he has to do.

And now they see this elderly man drop his cane on the floor. With great difficulty, he lowers himself and sits down next to Tim and worships with him so he won't be alone.

Everyone chokes up with emotion...

When the minister gains control, he says, ‘what I'm about to preach, you will never remember. What you have just seen, you will never forget.'

'Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some people will ever read!'

I asked the Lord to bless you
As I prayed for you today.
To guide you and protect you
As you go along your way....
His love is always with you,
His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares,
You know He will see us through.

Only if you feel led to, re-post this to People you want God to Bless.
...I DID!

A prayer from my friend JULIE on mulitply.com

Hi ..family and friends..
Greetings...
Starting with a prayer..
Lord give us your love in our hearts to love everyone like you loved, to pray for those who persecute us, not be quick to judge, condemn, criticize, as we may not really know what the truth is. Love you Lord, In Jesus Name, Amen!"
O how easily we publicize or criticize a fellow brother/sister's weakness, judge, condemn instead of praying for them...!
Sorry Lord for the times I've done that...

If someone we know is struggling with a weakness we need to first pray for them, then see if we can talk to them and help them out.
Let's not be quick to judge things by what we see and hear for it may not be what we think it is.
If we have doubt's a fellow sis/ bro is doing something wrong it's very important we find out the exact truth.
For our eyes and ears may deceive us.
Prov 25:7b & 8a it's said.."....what you've seen with your eyes do not bring hastily to court....."
Prov 25:9b " ...do not betray another man's confidence..."
How would Jesus deal with this....?
When a woman caught in adultery was brought to Him (JOHN 8:1-11)
1) He didn't listen to her accusers and condemn or accuse her. He loved her though He hated the sin she was involved in.
He held her close and asked her accusers,
John 8:7 " If anyone of you is without sin let him be the first to throw the stone at her."
We need to love those the world tramples and help them steady their faltering steps, pray for them and not be quick to not condemn them.
2) Jesus without condemning her, just by showing His love unhooked her of her past. She no longer was a prostitute.
We too got to forgive and release people of their past.
When Jesus forgives He immediately forgets and let's that person follow him.
3)He gave her back her lost dignity.
He accusers called her a 'prostitute' but Jesus forgave, forgot and calls her 'Woman'.
John 8:10 "Woman where are they? Has no one condemned you? Then neither do I condemn you. Go now & sin no more."
John 3:16 to 18
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
We need to be imitators of Jesus...!
We need to have the Father's heart...!
So in future let's think twice before we accuse a fellow bro/ sis. Let's not laugh at a struggling fellow traveller who slipped and fell.
It may drive them further down the pit they fell, instead of pulling them back.
We are all, as our Pastor always says, "Sinners saved by Grace walking towards perfection."
And let's not uncover past sins or mistakes of our fellow believers which Jesus had forgiven and forgotten long back.
Let God's love rule our heart at all times.
When we turned to Him as sinners He picked us up as we were, looked upon us with mercy and compassion.
He didn't look at our past and accuse us. When we turned to Him from our sinful ways, He did not cast us out or abandon us, He lifted us up from the dirt and filth of sin, dusted off the dirt, looked past the shame of sin and looked lovingly into our eye's and said
" I love you as you are" "I died that you may live, you are mine I'll make everything new for you. I will bring glory to my Name thro' you. And it doesn't matter what people say, I'm able by my blood to wash you clean".
Thank you Lord for saving me...

He cleansed us with His precious blood and clothed us with His righteousness.
That's God's love.
Let's imitate Jesus Christ our Lord.
"But what about your past?" the enemy whispers.....

"The moment I accepted God's forgiveness I don't have a past, I only have a future... "

YSIC
Julie
" God's unfailing love for us is too big to understand, but it's not too big to share."
"We can never untangle all the woes in other people's lives. We can't produce miracles overnight. But we can bring a cup of cool water to a thirsty soul, or a scoop of laughter to a lonely heart."

My Idea's I use with Self-discipline & Meditation

I have found that I can take advice from other's and I can choose to use them or not use them? It's up to me eventually what will work for me in my lifestyle. I have been fortunate to find good people at my church. The Victory Outreach Church in Gresham Oregon in Oregon state. I have chosen this church to attend because they help people who are in active Addiction lifestyle's. The have homes' for people in Recovery, I also like that they help people who have been in gang's and other situation's that they are trying to get out of and into a better lifestyle. This is exactly what I did in my past I was lost in the Addictive lifestyle for many many years. It took far too many years to get out of. But, now that I am out, I never want to return to that life again. I love recovery and I plan on helping other's any way that I can. Just as stranger's have helped me, I would like to pray and help as many people in addiction lifestyle's to change and make a better life for themselves.

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE

A new year should breed dreams. Psychologist Sheelagh Manheim writes about her father who in 1938 at the age of seventy-four fell deathly ill with bronchitis. Burdened with financial problems from the Great Depression, he nevertheless went out and planted a row of redwood trees. He told his grandson that he would live to see them grow tall. Ten years later he had recovered his financial losses. He died in peace having seen his redwood trees grown tall. Regardless of your age, health, or financial status, as you read this reflection know you are not too old or sick to plant a future. Not to plant or plan is to bring the curtain down on the play of your life, since without dreams and visions, tomorrow you are either already dead or dying. Being dream-dead is like being brain-dead, it is a near-life state where the body continues its routine functions, but isn’t truly alive. We humans are disposed to have visions for tomorrow as part of the natural unfolding of our latent embryonic possibilities. At every age, creation’s spirit says, “You’re not finished yet. Don’t stop growing.” Today, if you lack the space to plant a tree, then plant a dream. Plan for something that you like to do; most importantly, be.
Help me disregard my limitations, shake off the inertia of aging, and plant seeds of a new tomorrows, fertilizing them with enthusiasm.
Prayer action suggestion:Plant a dream every day in this coming year. Make it a part of your daily prayer or meditation ritual.
