I haven't been here that much, this year? I have been neglecting this BLOG Page, for my other ones. I actually thought I phased it out? but I will do it soon, cause I have others on other Websites. From Debra Rincon Lopez in Portland OREGON. Just Stay SOBER & Most of ALL LOVE YOURSELF, that's one thing that I have found that works for me. O Great Spirit, that flies on the wind and carries us in your arms, we offer our prayers to alleviate the suffering of mankind and to bring light to hearts where it is needed most. We pray that those who live in fear, ignorance, and pain look to the skies and find comfort in the wonder of their very creation. We raise our voices in gratitude for this experience of being human and pray to be perfect instruments of light and love in this world. We pray that you allow us to lift the light in our hearts into one pure rainbow of love so that all open hearts may return to your embrace. For the good of all, we pray to be open to your guidance in small moments, where a hair's breadth can change our minds; in these moments, we pray that you enter our hearts and guide us to right action. We pray that the road of love be open to us that we may walk hand in hand, in love, to a glorious new day.

I bless the animals, I bless the children, I bless the timid.
I bless the injured, I bless the struggle.
I bless myself, I bless those who have harmed me, I pray for their peace.

Now we can help bring lost souls into the Kingdom of
Heaven by telling them about our Heavenly Father. For,

word of God. ( Romans 10:17 )

We can also help by showing them the way we live.
We do that by living according to the Scriptures, obeying
the Laws of God, and by our showing loving kindness
and mercy towards others

Elder's Meditation of the Day - June 15

A long time ago the Creator gave to the people all the knowledge on how we should live and conduct ourselves. The Native people have been influenced by outside "tribes" who don't know about the Sacred Way. Our Elders still know about the old sacred ways. We need to consult and talk to them before it's too late. Every family needs to seriously evaluate whether they are living according to the old knowledge. If we are fault finding, putting one another down, being selfish, being violent to our spouses or children, if we are cheating and being dishonest, then we are not living the old Sacred Way. The old way is about respect, love, forgiveness and sharing.

Elder's Meditation of the Day, June 3

A long time ago, in the beginning, the Creator gave to all people and to all things the Wisdom and the knowledge of how to live in harmony. Some tribes call these teachings the original Instructions, the original teachings, or the Great Laws. All of Nature still lives and survives according to these teachings. In modern times, human beings are searching for the Instructions. Many churches claim they have these Instructions. Where are these teachings? The Instructions are written in our hearts.

Great Spirit, today, whisper to me the secrets of the original Instructions

NATIVE AMERICAN CODE OF ETHICS Unknown Author?

1. Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often. The Great Spirit
will listen, if you only speak.

2. Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path. Ignorance, conceit,
anger, jealousy and greed stem from a lost soul. Pray that they will
find guidance.

3. Search for yourself, by yourself. Do not allow others to make your
path for you. It is your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it with
you, but no one can walk it for you.

4. Treat the guests in your home with much consideration. Serve
them the best food, give them the best bed and treat them with
respect and honor.

5. Do not take what is not yours whether from a person, a community,
the wilderness or from a culture. It was not earned nor given. It is not
yours.

6. Respect all things that are placed upon this earth - whether it be
people or plant.

7. Honor other people's thoughts, wishes and words. Never interrupt
another or mock or rudely mimic them. Allow each person the right to
personal expression.

8. Never speak of others in a bad way. The negative energy that you
put out into the universe will multiply when it returns to you.

9. All persons make mistakes. And all mistakes can be forgiven.

10. Bad thoughts cause illness of the mind, body and spirit. Practice
optimism.

11. Nature is not FOR us, it is a PART of us. They are part of your
worldly family.

12. Children are the seeds of our future. Plant love in their hearts and
water them with wisdom and life's lessons. When they are grown,
give them space to grow.

13. Avoid hurting the hearts of others. The poison of your pain will
return to you.

14. Be truthful at all times. Honesty is the test of ones will within this
universe.

15. Keep yourself balanced. Your Mental self, Spiritual self,
Emotional self, and Physical self - all need to be strong, pure and
healthy. Work out the body to strengthen the mind. Grow rich in
spirit to cure emotional ails.

16. Make conscious decisions as to who you will be and how you
will react. Be responsible for your own actions.

17. Respect the privacy and personal space of others. Do not
touch the personal property of others - especially sacred and
religious objects. This is forbidden.

18. Be true to yourself first. You cannot nurture and help others if
you cannot nurture and help yourself first.

19. Respect others religious beliefs. Do not force your belief on
others.

20. Share your good fortune with others. Participate in charity.
